Storm Louis is currently passing over the Netherlands. North Holland, Utrecht, Gelderland, North Brabant and the south of Limburg are now experiencing heavy showers. Wind speeds of over 100 kilometers per hour have already been measured.
Code orange has been issued for the entire country due to storm Louis. Heavy gusts of wind have already been measured in many places, Weeronline reports. A wind speed of 114 kilometers per hour was measured on the Houtribdijk between Lelystad and Enkhuizen. In Zeeland there was a gust of wind of 104 kilometers per hour.

Reports of fallen trees and broken branches come from all over the country. A light pole was reportedly blown over in Melissant, South Holland. No casualties have been reported yet.
No trains are running on the High-Speed Line between Amsterdam Central Station and Rotterdam Central Station and between Rotterdam Central Station and Breda due to the strong wind. The NS uses express buses.
