Storm in New York: “Elsa” lets the subway fill up

With creative aids they try to protect themselves from flooding in the subway station – without success.

Land under in New York: The arrival of the tropical storm »Elsa« is imminent in the US metropolis. Several metro stations have been flooded by heavy rain – like this one in the Bronx. Sometimes the water reached the passengers up to the waist.

The NWS weather service warned of further heavy rains and floods. New York is surrounded by a lot of water and is therefore particularly endangered.
