In Amsterdam, the GVB warns that some trips are not possible. Travelers are advised to check the situation just before departure. The fire brigade received several reports of storm damage late in the evening, reports AT5.

Schiphol

At Schiphol, the disruption was minor at the end of the evening and the beginning of the night, a spokesperson said NH News. A number of aircraft made a go-around, but were successful on their second landing attempt.

In the northwest, very heavy wind gusts of 100-110 km/h are expected over land and around 120 km/h at sea tonight. Wind gusts of 80 to 90 km/h are expected inland. It is expected that code yellow will have passed everywhere by the beginning of the morning.
