According to EMY’s general weather forecast, today Friday 01/03/2024, heavy rains and storms will prevail from the early hours of the morning on the islands of June, western Sterea, western and southern Peloponnese.
From noon, the phenomenon will affect central Macedonia, Thessaly, eastern Sterea (including Attica), eastern Peloponnese.
From the afternoon the rains and storms will affect the Sporades, Evia and the Cyclades.
From the evening hours, the intense phenomena will continue in central Macedonia and the Cyclades, while they will gradually affect the islands of the eastern Aegean and the Dodecanese.
On Saturday
For tomorrow, Saturday 02/03/2024, in central and eastern Macedonia, Thrace, the islands of the northern and eastern Aegean and the Dodecanese, clouds are forecast, transiently increased local rains and sporadic storms in places strong in the morning hours.
From noon, the phenomena will gradually weaken. As for the rest of the country, few clouds are expected, temporarily increased mainly in the midday hours, with local rains and possibly isolated storms. Locally limited visibility in the west during the evening hours.
Meteorological conditions favor the transport of African dust mainly in the central and southern regions.

On Sunday 03/03/2024 the weather is expected to be generally clear, while at noon and in the afternoon temporary clouds will develop. Local rains will occur mainly in the northeastern mainland as well as in Crete.
