Dennis is indeed more violent than storm Ciara but does not blow over, but especially along the Netherlands, so we are hit less hard than at Ciara.

Warmest February 16 ever
Sunday is officially the hottest February 16 ever measured, including Weeronline. A temperature of 13.6 degrees was measured in De Bilt around 03.20 hours. The record was at 13.3 degrees and was last year.
It can even be the first spring day of the year. Temperatures of around 15 degrees are expected in the middle of the country. Locally the temperature can even rise to 17 degrees.
According to the weather station, it is the second time that a weather record has been broken this year. January 31 was the warmest January 31 ever measured.
