Storm depression “Sabine” from February of this year is probably more expensive than expected for the parish of the Assumption of Mary. The insurance does cover the damage caused by the storm. Further repair work on the church roof, which thanks to the scaffolding can now also be carried out, will probably have to be done by the parish itself. Pastor Martin Neidl estimates that the total cost will be between 70,000 and 80,000 euros. This includes around 50,000 euros for the scaffolding, which is covered by the insurance, the rest is for repairing the damage.
