The wind will probably remain strong in Lower Franconia over the weekend. The German Weather Service (DWD) expects stormy gusts in the evening and night hours on Saturday and Sunday, especially for the northern half of the administrative district. The fire brigades in the region will probably have a lot to do again. The integrated control centers (ILS) in Schweinfurt and Würzburg are also expecting more calls from citizens than usual. The control centers accept emergency calls, requests for help and information for rescue services and the fire brigade and alert the necessary emergency services.
