The entire province of Cáceres and Las Vegas del Guadiana, in Badajoz, will remain at yellow risk this Saturday due to heavy rains, which can exceed 15 liters per square meter in an hour, and due to storms.
The warnings will be in effect from 12.00 and will remain active until 00.00 hours, as advanced by the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet). Likewise, the rains and storms will have this Saturday with a risk warning (yellow) to eight provinces of Castilla-La Mancha, Aragon and Galicia, as reported by the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) that expects unstable weather to predominate, with wide rains and storms in large areas of the country, especially in the northwest half of the peninsula.
Specifically, the rain warning (yellow), which will exceed 15 liters per square meter in one hour in Cáceres and will even accumulate 40 liters per square meter in 12 hours in Asturias. But the storms motivate more risk warnings from the Aemet, which highlights that in areas with warning they may be strong and accompanied by hail.
Teruel, Guadalajara, Cuenca, Ciudad Real, Toledo, Albacete, Toledo and Cáceres will have a yellow warning due to storms.
In general, during the day a band of cloudiness and rainfall will be located in the Mediterranean area and these could be accompanied by mud and an occasional storm, it will begin affecting Melilla and the southeast of the peninsula and after they will displace the Balearic Islands, although at the end of the day they will tend to forward.
In the rest of the Peninsula, the sky this Saturday will be cloudy, covered or with cloudy intervals and cloudiness of evolution, with some weak and scattered showers early in the morning in the center and northwest, which tend to become general and become more intense and with storm as the day goes on.
Likewise, they may be locally strong in the interior of Galicia, Cantabrian mountain range, Central system, west of the North plateau and northwest of the South plateau. As for the Canary Islands, the Aemet does not rule out a shower in the interior of the islands of greater relief.
On the other hand, there is the possibility of suspended dust in high areas of the southeast and in the Balearic Islands, as well as morning mists in the mountains in the Peninsula.
Regarding temperatures, Aemet expects the maximums to rise in the eastern half of the Peninsula and in the Balearic Islands and they will do so notably in Aragon and inland Catalonia and Valencia. The nocturnal ones will tend to rise in the interior of the eastern third. In the rest, little change is expected and the frosts will affect mainly in the Pyrenees.
Finally, the winds will blow lightly in most of the country, although the southern component will predominate in the Peninsula and the northern component in the Canary Islands. In Strait and Alboran it will roll from east to west, in the eastern Mediterranean area from northeast to southwest and in Galicia from southwest to northeast, with strong intervals at the end of the day.
