SLAWI – Young people of 25 years of origin TegalAli is not his real name, he still remembers the first time he was positively diagnosed HIV 5 years ago.
Even though he had fallen into a crisis, Ali realized that what happened to him was the result of his past actions.
Ali also admits that he grew up to live life like a normal person, even if he has a disability PLHIV or people with HIV/AIDS.

Ali is still active normally. Physically and emotionally they appear healthy. He is also self-employed to meet the needs of life of him. He continues to live fighting HIV.
Ali said that when he was a teenager, he admitted that he often had multiple partners and fell into promiscuity.
“In the past, to channel my sexual desires, I had sex with multiple partners without using protection. The dark past has paid off with my current situation,” Ali said.
However, Ali said he was grateful he still had the opportunity to improve his life.
“I am grateful that I am still alive so far and have the time to live a better life,” Ali said.
Ali admits that he made his past a black fix in his life. Ali reminded the younger generation not to attempt promiscuity.
“I just feel this reality. My message is stay healthy, stay away from promiscuity, stay away from drugs, because HIV doesn’t discriminate against anyone, stay away from the virus and not people,” Ali concluded.
Previously, the commemoration of World AIDS Day (HAS) 2022 was marked by joint prayer and candle lighting in the courtyard of Kwarcab Scout Studio, Tegal Regency, Central Java on Tuesday (6/12/2022) evening.
The event was attended by, among others, the Indonesian Family Planning Association (PKBI) and the Community of Healthy HIV/AIDS or PLHIV Persons.
Then the Tegal Regency AIDS Commission (KPA), STKIP NU Slawi students and Scouts.
The commemoration of the HAS was marked by the lighting of candles forming a symbolic ribbon and a joint prayer on the theme “Uniting steps to prevent HIV, all are equal to end AIDS”.
Tegal District KPA Secretary Abdul Basit revealed that the trend of HIV/AIDS continues to increase every year.
“Cumulative data from the District Health Bureau recorded that 1,504 HIV cases had been detected through October 2022,” it said on Wednesday (7/12/2022).
Abdul said the spirit that was carried forward by the HAS 2022 theme was to strengthen the commitment of stakeholders to work together in HIV prevention and control towards the end of AIDS 2030.
According to Basit, HAS 2022 is the right time to remember that HIV/AIDS exists and needs the support of various sectors, not just the health sector, because HIV has had a psychosocial and economic impact.
