Muvattupuzha: Moral hooliganism by a three-member gang against a couple traveling at night with the child in the car. Denit and his wife Renee Thomas faced the attack at their home on the north side of Wallakam poochkuzhi on Kunnakal road near Wallakam CTC junction on Monday night.
The gang stopped the car and started abusing it and breaking the car’s rear view mirror and license plate. The police registered a case and started an investigation. When Denit and Renee’s 5-month-old baby cried constantly, the two got into the car with the baby. During the journey, the person who had met the scooter had passed after having looked inside the car.
In Denit’s report to the police it is said that shortly after he returned with two other people and drove a scooter in front of the car and stopped it. They were asked where they were going at night and what the schedule was and were harassed and held on the street for half an hour. The group left the place when they saw Renee calling the police. Police said those who carried out the attack have been identified.
