It was enough to make Daniele De Rossi crazy with joy. A header from Bryan Cristante in added time allowed Roma to win their Serie A matchday 32 match against Udinese 2-1 on Thursday evening. It was interrupted on April 14 after the discomfort of its Franco-Ivorian defender Evan Ndicka.
Cannavaro starts badly

In the standings, the club consolidates its 5th qualifying place for the Europa League with now four points ahead of 6th, Atalanta Bergamo, and six over its rival Lazio. Roma are four points from the last qualifying place in the Champions League, occupied by Bologna.
Now coached by the 2006 world champion Fabio Cannavaro, who replaced Gabriele Cioffi on Monday, the Udinese players remain stuck in 17th place, tied with the first relegation, Frosinone. “Even in these few minutes, we could see that there was nervousness, it made us make mistakes at the end of the match. We need to work on this point,” reacted Cannavaro after his debut on the bench. “This victory gives us a big boost,” De Rossi said. “The guys did an incredible job.”
