Stop killing innocent people!

Jakarta –

President of Iran Masoud Pezeshkian of charge harsh criticism of Israel. He asked Israel to stop killing innocent people.

Pezeshkian expressed this criticism when a Russian state TV reporter interviewed him on the sidelines of an international meeting in Turkmenistan on Friday (11/10). Pezeshkian said Israel violated many international agreements.

“I want to say to Israel, stop killing innocent people. Stop bombing residential buildings, people who have nothing,” said Pezeshkian. Al ArabiyaSaturday (12/10/2024).

Pezeshkian said that Israel’s actions were not stopped because they received support from the United States (US).

“They are doing this because they know that the US and the European Union are behind it,” explained Pezeshkian.

Israel is known to still carry out attacks in Palestine and Lebanon. In the Gaza Strip, Palestine, the Israeli army has destroyed the area since last October

The Israeli army’s attacks were then extended to Lebanon’s borders, targeting several Hezbollah leaders. The Israeli attack on Thursday night (10/10) in the heart of Beirut killed 22 people and injured more than 100 people.

Meeting with the President of Russia

On the agenda in Turkmenistan, Pezeshkian also met with the President of Russia Vladimir Putin. During the meeting, Putin praised Iran, which he believed to be developing rapidly.

“Relations with Iran are our priority. They are developing very successfully,” said Putin.

Putin touched on the history of cooperation between Russia and Iran. He also said that he had a lot of understanding with Iran in dealing with several international issues.

“We actively cooperate in the international arena and our views on world events are often very close,” he said.

Pezeshkian also made similar statements to Putin’s. He said that the positions of Iran and Russia in the international world were similar.

“Our positions on the international stage are similar,” he said.
