Stoltenberg: Sweden will become NATO’s 32nd Ally – 2024-02-28 04:45:36

Its Secretary General NATO Jens Stoltenberg today welcomed the ratification by the Hungarian Parliament of Sweden’s accession to the Alliance.

“Now that all Allies have given their approval, Sweden will become the 32nd NATO Ally. Sweden’s membership will make us all stronger and safer,” Stoltenberg said in a post on X.

THE Hungary it was to date the last among NATO’s 31 members not to have approved Sweden’s accession.
