“The Allies are helping Ukraine to defend its right to self-defense, which is enshrined in the UN Charter. Russia is an aggressor, but Ukraine is defending it.
“I am absolutely convinced that [Krievijas] the president [Vladimirs] Putin knows this, we are removing any room for recalculation, misunderstanding about our duty to defend every inch of NATO territory. “
There is a clear difference between supply lines in Ukraine and beyond, he added.

NATO’s message to Russia is that “they must stop the war, that we will continue to support Ukraine and that we will continue to impose unprecedented sanctions,” he said.
