Friday night the car, along with some other belongings and money, had disappeared during a burglary at the home of Allijns and his wife on the Pottelberg in Kortrijk. The car was still detected at 5:12 a.m. in the direction of Tournai, but otherwise there was no trace. Great was the relief when the car could be located on Saturday evening thanks to the track and trace system of the car. The French police were eventually able to have the car towed away. There is currently no trace of the perpetrators. On Twitter, Allijns breathes a big sigh of relief: “Whew!”
