Ahmedabad: Indian pacer Mohammad Siraj has clarified the reason for a scuffle between India captain Virat Kohli and England all-rounder Ben Stokes in the fourth Test against England. Siraj said he called himself bad when the bouncer was thrown at Stokes and he immediately informed Captain Kohli about it. Siraj told a news conference after the first day’s play that this was the reason for the word war with Collie Stokes.
At the same time, Ben Stokes commented on the war of words with Collie that such things should not be given undue prominence. People always give importance to such things. The two rivals clashed with each other. “It’s over,” Stokes said.
