A participant in a TV quiz show in Serbia laughed at the wrong answer to an easy question.
George Janic from Leskovac passed to the second round of the quiz and was asked “Which Bulgarian footballer won the Golden Ball in 1994”.
The possible answers were the pop-folk star of Macedonia Zoran Vanev, the correct answer Hristo Stoichkov and another striker in the person of Darko Panchev, who won the CASH for Red Star in 1991.
George gave the craziest answer of the three – pop-folk singer Zoran Vanev.
“Of course I know who Hristo Stoichkov is, but I just thought he had won the award earlier,” the participant apologized afterwards.
