Stocks New York: Dow almost makes up for loss – Nasdaq also curbs the minus

The US stock exchanges significantly contained their initially clear losses in the course of trading on Thursday. Most recently, the leading index Dow Jones Industrial was only 0.12 percent lower at 28,479.22 points. The market-wide S&P 500 reduced its minus to 0.33 percent with 3477.08 points. The technology-heavy Nasdaq 100 was able to at least somewhat narrow its price discount of 1.06 percent to 11 858.88 points.
