Waiting for the FED’s decisions on monetary policy. BancoBPM by over one and a half percentage points. The oil companies have no direction
The major Italian Stock Exchange indices and the main European financial markets they record fractional progress, awaiting the FED’s decisions on monetary policy. According to Pierre Veyret – technical analyst at ActivTrades – the absence of significant indications from the meeting could maintain the current status quo on stocks, while, of course, any dovish statement should fuel market sentiment and push stocks to new highs.
At 11.35 am FTSEMib it gained 0.16% to 30,390 points, after having fluctuated between a minimum of 30,346 points and a maximum of 30,466 points. At the same time the FTSE Italia All Share it was up 0.17%. Plus sign also for the FTSE Italia Mid Cap (+0.37%) and for the FTSE Italia Star (+0,18%).
Il bitcoin it returned to 41,000 dollars (just over 38,000 euros).
Lo spread Btp-Bund it stands just above 175 points, with the yield on the 10-year BTP remaining below 4%.
L’euro it is confirmed below $1.08.
I banking sector securities remain in the spotlight.
Il BancoBPM recorded a decline of 1.69% to 5.004 euros. Some investment banks have revised their assessment of the institute after the presentation of the 2023/2026 business plan.
Oil sector stocks are directionlessafter the price of crude oil in New York (contract expiring in January 2024) slipped to $68 a barrel.
At MidCap, the slide of stands out Antares Vision (suspended due to excessive reduction). The company announced that it has initiated a review of the strength of its receivables relating to the supply of government hubs (L5). In light of the initial checks, Antares Vision believes that the financial objectives previously communicated to the market will probably not be achieved. Monitoring activities are still ongoing.
