“Stock Market Update: Sharp Decline in PT Arsy Buana Travelindo and Other Stocks in Jakarta”

A number of stocks experienced a very sharp decline today. In fact, these stocks fell to a standstill or touched the lower auto reject level (ARB).

Quoted from RTI data, Tuesday (23/5/2023), the first company shares to drop to a standstill were shares of PT Arsy Buana Travelindo Tbk (HAJJ). The shares closed at Rp 274 per share, depreciating by Rp 30 or as much as 9.87%.

Second, there is PT Hoffmen Cleanindo Tbk (KING). The company’s shares fell by Rp 30 or as much as 9.74% to a level of Rp 278 per share.

Third, there is PT Adaro Energy Indonesia Tbk (ADRO). Adaro’s shares closed at Rp 2,290 per share or decreased by Rp 170 or 6.91%.

The cause of the decline in the shares of companies operating in the coal mining sector is not yet known. However, the company’s shares immediately plummeted until they got stuck at the opening of stock trading.

The total stock transaction volume was recorded at 24.03 million shares with a transaction value of Rp 55.02 billion. These shares were traded 11,120 times.

The fourth is PT Sigma Energy Compressindo Tbk (SICO). Having been in the green zone in the first session, the company’s shares then fell to a standstill. The shares closed at Rp 162 per share or decreased by 6.90%.

Fifth, PT Haloni Jane Tbk (HALO). Once in the green zone, HALO shares closed at Rp 165 per share. These shares fell by IDR 12 or by 6.78%.
