The stock market journalist Katja Dofel is dead. She died last Thursday at the age of 52 after a serious illness in the presence of her parents in Frankfurt am Main, her long-term employer told ntv on Monday afternoon.

Her family had previously thanked the television station for its discretion over the past few weeks on the Linkedin business platform. “Now she rests. But remember her as you knew her: full of life and colourful, always ‘bullish’ about the future and committed to the stock market and finance.
