Korn releases “Forgotten”, new preview of the album ‘Requiem’
As we reported last November, ‘Requiem’ is the title of the new album that Korn has prepared for the release that will come next february 4 via Loma Vista Recordings, from which they advanced us “Start the Healing” as a first sample, in addition to presenting the cover and the tracklist.
“Forgotten” is the new advance single of the production that the band itself has carried out together with Chris Collier to which we can already take the tooth.
It must be remembered that Korn will be one of the main attractions in the new edition of Resurrection Fest, with a must-see for its followers on the closing day of the festivalnext July 3.
Angelus Apatrida presents the video for “Childhood’s End”
It was not missing among the list of the best albums that saw the light in 2021 the brutal self-titled album of Angel of Apatrida, from which those from Albacete now extract a new video clip, specifically the one that captures the theme in images “Childhood’s End”, which has been translated into a video clip in which a subject as delicate as the right to a dignified death is addressed.
In the band’s own words: “We have tried to capture the ferocity of the music and the rawness of the lyrics and bring them to a movie in the form of a video clip. Our songs are usually full of life experiences that let feelings surface, sometimes we use them to channel our deepest fears and ghosts. As we can see in movies or television series, we believe that it is necessary to normalize it and naturally show harsh situations that we all see and even suffer in life. We all deserve to live with dignity, and everyone, when the time comes, deserves to die in a dignified way.”
Loncha Velasco announces new concerts
The next January 28 is marked to be able to enjoy in the ejido of a new date with the people of Malaga Loncha Velasco in which to experience the live performance of the band whose most recent single and video clip we enjoyed a few weeks ago so much, “Basically it’s for the pasta”, as of his complete album, ‘Mom, I want to be an artist!’.
The list of concerts continues to grow by adding the date of the January 29 at No Surrender MC Axarquia in Vélez Málaga, that of February 5 in the Jager room in Lugo, the March 4 at the Rock N Rolla Club in Granada, and after the appointment you wait in the Sixx Hall in Madrid on May 7, add those of May 13 at the Darkness Pub in Sedaví (Valencia), the May 14 in Ciudad Real Purgatory, the July 29 at the Bellota Rock in Valdecín (Cáceres), and the list is currently closed with the performance to be held on September 19 at the Gatos de Melide Pub (A Coruña). But the band assures us that it continues to work to reach even more corners, so we will continue to be very attentive to announce any news that may arise.
Traste3 takes “Cadencia rota” to Spotify
After ending the year with the premiere of the “Broken Cadence” video clip the Madrid duo made up of the poet and rocker Jorge Valverde and the pianist Pigeon Rivera has taken its first step on digital platforms with the presence of this primer single in Spotify, with which we continue heading towards the release of Traste3’s first album, which will arrive next February.
Crazy Zombie opens the doors of its dress rehearsal at Tempo Estudios
Morning, January 15, The Crazy Zombie tour begins in Córdoba in which the Sevillian band will be presenting their album ‘Crystal Reality’, and our partner Jesus Manuel Garcia Barba was fortunate to be able to add to the dress rehearsal to tell us all the details:
Last Sunday, January 9, the Sevillian alternative rock band Crazy Zombie performed a general rehearsal at the Tempo Estudios in Seville, and for this we were summoned together with other local media so that we could attest to the good condition of the group and present what they we will be able to find ourselves in his performances in the halls of the country, but also and above all, the incorporation of the new member in the person of Héctor Núñez in substitution of the great Roche Espinosa, former singer.
The rehearsal itself was practically a private performance for the privileged ones who were invited, which in the end (because of the COVID) was left in two: the one who writes and a colleague from a specialized local press outlet.
Tempo Estudios is a place that any group or soloist, professional or not, dreams or would dream of to record their music. In front of it is the renowned producer Jaime Cuadrado, who is the “culprit” of much of the success of various top-level national artists of varied styles, although tanned in the hardest sounds for the past decade or so.
Crazy Zombie’s idea, it seems, was to calibrate themselves, and what better way than sounding perfectly for the tour that will take them to various Spanish locations. In addition, another incentive of special importance was to match “a real performance” with their new singer, and to make the set-list that the band has destined for the tour just like that.
I don’t want to review the list of songs as if it were a typical performance, I will only say that songs like “An endless groove” The “Something human” among others, acquire a new nuance, different and no less impressive than their versions in the voice of Roche Espinosa.
This band has very clear ideas of how it wants to sound, what it wants to propose and how it wants to do it.
They have prepared a performance in which the order of the songs is not left to chance or to anyone’s whim and where the intros and sequences (when there are any) play a fundamental role.
Space sounds, from the old west, beats, etc… give an atmosphere to the show, taking on another dimension.
Crazy Zombie are in the first division of national rock and their strongest intentions are to stay and compete for “the champions” in Europe (they have plenty of qualities and not in vain, they are also planning their departure abroad).
To finish, I will say that this group has a great advantage over other rock groups, and that is that while in the hardest field the bands corseted themselves or headed towards a certain style, they began to make their music with an open mind. A group in which you can recognize sounds from bands like Purple, Zeppelin, Maiden, Sabbath, Nazareth, Uriah Heep, and where you discover reminiscences of other 70’s pop-rock groups mixing it with Arab, soul and funky ambient passages, they have all open doors in the music scene to lead them on the road to success. I’m going to give you some friendly advice. Do not miss it if they pass or come to your city. You will thank me.
