Börsepeople im Podcast S14/09: Martin Vörös
Martin Vörös introduces himself on LinkedIn as follows: CFO at VBV Group / Drums at CFO band Liquid Spirit. Martin has basically been with the same company since 1990 – we discuss how BVP, VPK and now, for a long time, VBV are connected. Accounting, controlling, IT, risk management, law, administration, process organization are just as much topics as digitalization, crises and opportunities. Martin is on the board of the industry association of pension funds and on the board of the Society for Future Security and Pension Provision – Denkwerkstatt St. Lambrecht, which deals with social policy pension issues and their practical development. In the ÖFB database you can find a kicker of the same name who is almost the same age, but he is not. Instead, he is the drummer in the CFO band Liquid Spirit, from which Philip Tüttö, Klemens Eiter and Walter Riess have already been guests. And we talk about being a drummer in detail and in a humorous way. That’s why I love my job.

Rheinmetall continues to rise, Sweetgreen continues to expand, elf Beauty continues to boom. The problem: the valuations. Speaking of valuations: for German real estate companies, they are finally stable, for American TV companies, they are plummeting.

Munich Re (WKN: 843002) insures losses that others don’t want to incur, thereby creating a stable business that others can only dream of.

Bumble (WKN: A2QMTA) and Match (WKN: A2P75D) have not made the stock market happy in recent years. Grindr (WKN: A3D1JL) has. We check out what’s behind it.
