The market showed a slight downward trend one day before the weekend, suggesting a gloomy end to the week. The BRVM Composite index closed at 269.00 points, indicating a decrease of 0.12%. The BRVM 30 index stood at 133.38 points, registering a drop of 0.09%, while the BRVM Prestige index recorded a loss of 0.34%, ending at 111.78 points.

On the side of the strongest advances, SAPH CI (SPHC) closes at 4,295 FCFA, registering an increase of 7.38%, UNIWAX CI (UNXC) with a price of 470 FCFA increases by 6.82%, SUCRIVOIRE (SCRC) is established at 790 FCFA with an increase of 6.76%, TOTALENERGIES MARKETING SN (TTLS) ended at 2,310 FCFA up 4.76%, and BANK OF AFRICA NG (BOAN) closed at 3,350 FCFA with an increase of 3.08%.

On the other hand, among the biggest decliners, SMB CI (SMBC) fell by 7.48%, closing at 11,935 FCFA, SERVAIR ABIDJAN CI (ABJC) with a price of 1,945 FCFA recorded a fall of 7.38%, SETAO CI fell ( STAC) by 6.72%, closing at 625 FCFA, CFAO MOTORS CI (CFAC) fell by 5.19%, with a price of 640 FCFA, and VIVO ENERGY CI (SHEC) closed at 830 FCFA, down by 5.14%.

In terms of trading volume, SONATEL SN (SNTS) achieved the strongest performance with a volume of 1,579,961,675 FCFA, indicating an increase of 20.48x. BANK OF AFRICA CI (BOAC) continues with 180,795,365 FCFA (+5.87x), while SITAB CI (STBC) shows a volume of 156,399,010 FCFA, although it is slightly down with -0.38x. SOLIBRA CI (SLBC) recorded 99,808,895 FCFA (+0.09x), while BANK OF AFRICA ML (BOAM) posted a volume of 47,245,570 FCFA (+3.37x).

Among the lowest transactions, SAFCA CI (SAFC) recorded 86,840 FCFA, down -0.92x, followed by BERNABE CI (BNBC) with 112,440 FCFA (-0.81x) and UNILEVER CI (UNLC) at 172,655 FCFA. SETAO CI (STAC) and BICI CI (BICC) respectively achieved 368,590 FCFA (+0.61x) and 414,530 FCFA (-0.98x).
