The market is showing some pullback after previously seen gains. The BRVM Composite index ended at 259.07 points, registering a fall of 0.18%. The other two main indexes follow this downward trend: the BRVM 30 stands at 129.92 points, down 0.18%, while the BRVM Prestige falls slightly to 114.36 points, a decrease of 0.22%.
Among the best performing stocks of the session, SAFCA CI (SAFC) recorded a notable increase of 7.27% to 885 FCFA, followed by SICABLE CI (CABC) with an increase of 6.15% to 1,035 FCFA, and SUCRIVOIRE (SCRC) which increased by 5.94% To 535 FCFA.
On the other hand, the biggest falls of the day were seen at SERVAIR ABIDJAN CI (ABJC), which fell 7.37% to 2,450 FCFA, ECOBANK TRANS. INCORP. TG (ETIT) down 5.88% to 16 FCFA, and SAPH CI (SPHC) which fell 5.74% to 3,200 FCFA.
In terms of transaction volumes, BANK OF AFRICA SENEGAL (BOAS) stands out with an amount of 111,007,210 FCFA, followed by SONATEL SN (SNTS) with 94,743,095 FCFA, and CORIS BANK INTERNATIONAL (CBIBF) at 39,322,01.
