The company Athymis Gestion, managed by Stéphane Toullieux, is launching a new fund invested in companies aimed at the youngest. Among its main positions, we find Apple, Airbnb, Chewy, Nike.

The company headed by Stéphane Toullieux, Athymis Gestion, launched the Athymis Gen Z fund on April 16 (Isin code FR0014001KS3).

The management company has already distinguished itself in the past, with the creation of three original thematic funds, whose performance is outstanding: Athymis Millennial (+ 47.5% from one year to April 12) and Athymis Millennial Europe (+ 37.9% over the past year), invested in the uses of Generation Y born between 1980 and 2000.

Athymis Better Life, which has been in existence for less than five years, selects companies contributing to “building a better world” (+ 42.2% in twelve months).

The new fund Athymis Gen Z is invested all over the world, in listed companies whose products and services are adapted to the uses of Generation Z, born after 1995.

Generation Z in the spotlight

These under-27s, born with digital and the Internet, are geared towards innovation and weigh more heavily in the economy of the future. Their purchasing power should increase in the years to come, ensuring their suppliers a growth rate higher than that of the global GDP.

The other theme addressed in the fund is that of “Moonshots”, these disruptive technologies that should transform the next thirty years and participate in the way of life of Generation Z.

The investment universe includes both digital and consumer players (electric vehicles, sports, video games, etc.) and innovative companies supporting the transformations underway.

The top ten positions in the fund are Apple (smartphones and computers), Airbnb (tourist rental), Chewy (online distributor of pet food), Crowdstrike (cybersecurity), Nike (sportswear), Nvidia (graphics cards), Palantir Technologies (big data), Logitech (computer peripherals), L’Oreal (cosmetics), Sea Ltd (e-commerce).
