MARKET REVIEW. The New York Stock Exchange started lower on Wednesday due to a disappointing employment indicator.
The Toronto Stock Exchange retreated early in the session, dragged down by losses in the tech sector.
The clues
In Toronto, the S&P/TSX lost 84 points, or 0.46%, to 18,337 points.
In New York, the S&P 500 decreased by 4 points, or 0.11%, to 3,865 points.
The Dow Jones was up 113 points, or 0.36%, to 31,505 points.
The Nasdaq was down 62 points, or 0.47%, to 13,295 points.
