Stinky ‘Corpse Flower’ Opened at University of California Riverside Botanical Gardens | Univision 34 Los Angeles KMEX

“Corpse plants only flower when the underground corm reaches at least 20 pounds, usually after at least a decade, and this was the first time the Botanic Gardens plant had flowered. They only remain in bloom for about 24 to 40 hours before closing.”, explained UC Riverside in a statement.
