Stimulus Checks in June Which States Will They Send?

With the purpose of providing support to their residents, some North American states will send direct payments during this month of June.The first of these is Illinois. In that state, the deadline to request the income tax refund was October 17, 2022. Likewise, this was also the deadline to request the property tax refund.

In other words, although most of these payments have already been made, they will continue to be made in June until they are all completed.

In the case of Idaho, shipments of tax refunds and special session refunds during March and September 2022.

However, for people who applied for extensions or filed their returns later, refunds are still in process through the summer of 2023.

In the state of Maine, the deadline to apply for the Winter Energy Relief Payment was October 31, 2022.

Therefore, the payments started in January 2023 and have practically come to an end. However, there are still people who have not received them. In this case, they have until June 30 to contact the State Tax Assessor and prove their eligibility.

What states complete the list?

Another of the states is Massachusetts, which has practically completed the issuance of state tax refunds.

In this sense, taxpayers who file their tax returns late have until September 15, 2023, and still be eligible. Once the state processes your returns, the refund will be paid out approximately one month later.

Montana, for its part, is the only state that is implementing a new stimulus package for the second half of 2023.

Therefore, its residents could receive a property tax refund of up to $675.00 USD. Such refunds must be requested online or by mail. Here it is important to clarify that it must be done within the period between August 15 and October 1, 2023.
