Who will receive the stimulus check?
The payment is made under the magnifying glass of the annual Permanent Fund Dividend (PFD).
Specifically, the beneficiaries are eligible Alaskans, this time.
Who will be favored? The announced direct payment is valid for residents of that northern state. As an essential aspect, they must have been classified as “eligible not paid” in a session that took place on July 12, 2023.
The finances can be used for this aid thanks to the proceeds obtained from the sales of oil and gas during the year 2022. All beneficiaries will receive $3,284.00 USD in 2023. Of that total budget, $2,662.00 USD is considered taxable income. The rest of the money belongs to an energy relief payment and is not taxed at all.

To check the status of your application select “myPFD”. Then, make sure your address is up to date on your application. Also, if you signed electronically, you can log in to “myPFD” and update your address online. Finally, complete the change of address form and send it to one of our offices.
The payment schedule is as follows. 2022 dividend applications that are in “Eligible-Not Paid” status on July 12, 2023, are distributed this week.
Meanwhile, the 2022 dividend requests that appear in the “Eligible-Not Paid” status on August 9, will be distributed on August 17. Lastly, dividend requests for 2022 (and the previous year) that are in the “Eligible-Not Paid” status on September 6, will be distributed on September 14.
This economic aid stimulus check is part of the strategies of most of the country’s states to benefit their inhabitants in the midst of the current inflation. Alaska also adds to such financial support thanks to several established programs.
