Mauricio Toledo, the political fugitive from the Labor Party (PT) against whom Interpol issued red chip search in 194 countries for alleged illicit enrichment of 14 million pesos, appears active in social networks.
Despite the fact that the Attorney General’s Office (GF) of Mexico City considers him a “priority target” and has an arrest warrant against him for acts of corruption, the former delegate in Coyoacán and former federal legislator, allegedly still manages, unconcerned, his Twitter account.
“It’s already Friday, have a great day,” Toledo wrote this November 5 on the social network at 6:27 am

He also retweeted a message from the official account of the Megalopolis Environmental Commission about the Today does not circulate.
According to Mexican authorities, Toledo is in Chile, where he is seeking asylum to avoid the arrest warrant and obtain impunity.
The petista has been assumed as a “politically persecuted” by the prosecutor Ernestina godoy, from the Morena fraction in the Chamber of Deputies and from the Head of Government of Mexico City, Claudia Sheinbuam.
Deputy Gerardo Fernández Noroña in August 2021 he made a fierce defense of his “comrade in struggle”, who, he assured, is a victim of these authorities and legislators, whom he defined as ungrateful.
Toledo has compared his case with those of his father and grandfather, who were politically persecuted in the Augusto Pinochet dictatorship.
In recent days he has tweeted topics such as the PT, the covid vaccines and the Chilean president Salvador Allende, but he has not stopped using Twitter even though he is considered one of the most sought after in the GF.
In the profile photo he poses with his index finger on his cheek and behind the Mexican flag; maintains another image in a public event.
He describes himself as “Federal Deputy elected by district 05 with head in San Martín Texmelucan. Personal messages bear the signature #MT. I am Allendista and Nerudiano.”
DOES NOT STOP BEING ACTIVE ON THE NETWORK
Authorities of the GF said that the General Directorate of Intelligence tracks their activities in their accounts social networksAlthough the diplomatic channels that have been established with the Chilean government for him to be extradited and prosecuted are awaiting “fruitfulness”.
On August 24 the GF reported that despite requesting the publication of the red chip from interpol, this tool is not enough for him to be arrested by the Chilean police.
GODOY’S REQUEST
In contrast to the political persecution argued by the former delegate in Coyoacán, The Broken Chair It has a copy of the first statement of reasons that the prosecutor Ernestina Godoy addressed to the Board of Directors of the Chamber of Deputies in order to obtain its violation.
The document is received on April 20, 2021; in one of the paragraphs it reads:
In compliance with the provisions of the law, the Public Ministry of Mexico City delivered all the elements that prove the criminal responsibility of the person indicated for the crime of illicit enrichment, credited with an unjustified and inexplicable increase of 14 million pesos in his heritage

The three-page letter will be addressed to Pablo Gomez, who was president of the Instructor Section, and other members: Martha Patricia Ramírez Lucero, Anilú Ingram Vallines and Ana Ruth García Grande.
In the letter, Godoy claimed that they had not initiated the procedure to remove Mauricio Alonso Toledo Gutiérrez’s procedural immunity.
Guaranteeing access to justice is an obligation of the Attorney General’s Office of Mexico City and unfortunately, regarding this matter, the lack of action of the legislative body responsible for studying the file and ruling on it (.) Has led to the persistence of impunity to the detriment of society

The claim arose because since January 25, 2021, the prosecution had requested the violation of the now fugitive former federal legislator.
This Thursday, in commemoration of the 102 anniversary of the PDI, its chief general, Francisco Almazán Barocio, revealed historical figures on the number of arrest warrants in this administration, but could not presume that of Toledo.
