Italian actress Sophia Loren made a feature film again after ten years. The social drama La vita davanti a sé (Life Ahead), directed by her son Edoardo Ponti, premieres on netflix on Friday.
Loren, who celebrated her 80th birthday in September, starred in a Holocaust survivor who made a living as a prostitute and now cares for homeless children. The story of an aging woman and an abandoned Senegalese boy also outlines the themes of coexistence of different cultures
