With the assistance of the Operation Command Center (OCC), the EMU is also connected to monitoring equipment for hazards due to natural phenomena, including high rainfall, strong winds, earthquakes, as well as foreign objects and fire resistance.

One of the reasons for the comfort in the fast train can occur because of the adoption of advanced technology from Bogie using a suspension system consisting of a primary suspension using cylindrical helical springs and a secondary suspension using air springs and equipped with dampers. Comfort index and Stability index are monitored very closely.

KCJB’s EMU can also be found in its operating system that already uses ATP (Automatic Train Protection) technology in accordance with the standards required in High Speed ​​Trains as well as Chinese and world standards.

In terms of design, Mega Mendung batik was chosen because the KCJB route passes through the West Java area, one of which is the Mega Mendung Batik. Mega Mendung Batik can be seen on the panels on the passenger seats in each class.

The series of fast trains will be divided into several classes, ranging from VIP Class, First Class, to Second Class with comfortable seating distances. Then, there is also a Dining Car, facilities for the disabled, charging ports, to luggage storage that can be used to store luggage and also folding bicycles that make passenger comfort the best.

The plan is that there are 11 series of trains to serve passengers who want to enjoy the sophistication of KCJB. Currently, the series of high-speed trains is still in the production stage and is planned to arrive in Indonesia in June 2022.

The KCJB project continues to accelerate development in order to pursue operational targets by the end of 2022. Later, KCJB will be served by 4 stations along the 142 Km railway line, namely Halim, Karawang, Padalarang and Tegalluar Stations.
