Still pitying the occupying army – the first interview of the Doždj journalist after his dismissal

Former “Dozhdj” (“TV Rain”) journalist Aleksej Korostelevs is currently not working anywhere and lives on savings. Although he has been given some job offers, he doesn’t want to go on TV yet, because he thinks that everyone will point the finger at him: “Hey, that’s the guy who brought “Doždj” to hell!” In an interview for the “Turpinājus sekos” project, Korosteļevs for the first time explains in more detail the scandalous statements about support for the Russian army, which paid him his position, while the TV channel’s broadcasting license in Latvia was revoked.

Asked about what he feels when he learns about the large-scale losses of the occupying army, Korostelevs mentions the case in Makiivka, where on New Year’s Eve, Ukrainian forces destroyed several hundred mobilized people at once: “Can you curse? It was p*zdec! We don’t know the exact number of dead, but it was hell . One drunk, moronic colonel sat hundreds of people in one place and let them celebrate the New Year. And now they are gone. Hell,” he heats up in the conversation and doesn’t really understand what others are happy about
