Since yesterday evening, Wednesday July 14, rail traffic has been completely interrupted between Thionville and Luxembourg, following the flooding of a switch pole on the Luxembourg side. No train runs in both directions. Cross-border workers had to find a plan B to cross the border this morning. For the moment, SNCF has no information about a possible recovery, the failure being on the side of the Grand Duchy.
On the Thionville-Apach line, traffic is also completely interrupted, due to flooding on the German side.
On the side of the Nancy-Metz-Thionville line, no interruption is to be notified, although it is possible that some delays occur due to the rain.
In Hagondange, the underground used by pedestrians is still under water, causing some inconvenience.
