Last Tuesday, Apple held a new conference during which it presented some very interesting new products, including the Mac Studio and a new version of the iPad Air. Now, eyes are on the next devices that Apple should present during the year.
Among them, we should find a 2022 version of Apple’s high-end tablet: the iPad Pro. And precisely, analyst Ross Young has just published his forecast for the 11-inch version of the device, saying that the update of the device should, once again, do without the miniLED screen.
iPad Pro 11 “2022: still no miniLED screen?
As we know, rumors around Apple products are rife, and quite a few of them concern the future 2022 version of the iPad Pro. So far, rumors have come together to say that Apple was aiming to incorporate its new miniLED display technology into the 11-inch version, which was deprived of it last year.
Only, according to a tweet from analyst Ross Young, it wouldn’t be for this year yet… According to him, the 12.9-inch iPad Pro “is doing very well” and Apple would not need a extend mini-LED technology. If this choice were to be confirmed, the strategy of the Cupertino company would be questionable since the iPad Pro 11 inches and the iPad Air 5 M1 would be almost on the same footing, if we do not give importance to the 120 Hz screen and dual camera…
Panel production has started for the new 27″ MiniLED display to launch mid year. Assuming it will be called Studio Display Pro…I have insight on the 12.9″ MiniLED iPad Pro as well. It is doing really well. They don’t need to do one at 11″. Don’t expect it this year.
