Still no answer to protest against US participation in 4x 400 meters final | Sport

sport">TeamNL filed the protest before the final on Saturday, but there was no response. The previously disqualified Americans just participated and just finished third for the Netherlands. Lock runner Vernon Norwood crossed the line exactly 0.14 seconds earlier than Ramsey Angela.

sport">The athletes seem to have resigned themselves to not getting a bronze medal yet. “We thought it was strange that the Americans were participating again, but the coaches immediately told us not to waste energy on it. Focus on the race, we’ll take care of the rest,” said 400-meter runner Jochem Dobber.
