still a few weeks to enjoy it

Fight the darkness of January by cultivating yourself. This is possible in Marseille, Avignon and Aix-en-Provence thanks to the Digital Imagination Biennial. Until 22 January concerts, shows and exhibitions… Check out the programme!

Launched November 10, 2022, the Biennial of digital imaginariesis about to end. For latecomers and for those who have made a good resolution to have fun in this new year, this event is made for you.

Always connected with social issues, the themes of the biennials are chosen so as to remain faithful to current events and attract as many people as possible. The night, which was considered a space of dreams, rest, serenity and darkness, has evolved over time. The development of the consumer society and new lifestyles have changed its primary role.

For example, due to urbanization, light pollution is increasingly present. It therefore prevents the observation of the sky and the stars and disrupts an entire ecosystem. New technologies are also affecting our relationship with the night: poor quality sleep and reduction of social and sentimental ties: 1 out of 2 couples consult their smartphone alone once in bed, according to a study by Bouygues.

By questioning these issues and this theme, there are therefore about sixty artists who have created for the Biennial of digital imagery.

They invest museums, cultural places, theaters and they are all to be discovered until January 22nd in Marseille, Aix-en-Provence and Avignon. Focus on three of them.
