Sticky Widgets
However, do not spend hours customizing the iPhone home screen in apps like Widgetsmith.
With the widget app Sticky Widgets you can go “old school” with very simple sticky notes, ie Post-it notes. Remember milk and bread – or the dimensions of a room you are going to buy paint for.
Sticky Widgets are quite easy to use. After downloading it, place a widget on the home screen in the “usual way”.
If you have not yet learned the procedure, do the following:
Touch and hold an empty area on the home screen until all the icons start to shake.
Touch the plus sign at the top left.
Then find Sticky Widgets in the list and select the desired size, before finally pressing Add widget.
PS: To add text to your sticky note, tap it when the home screen is not in edit mode.
PPS: If you experience that you get the same text on several sticky notes, you must press and hold it, select Edit widget and then select a new note ID. You can choose a number between 1 and 999. Start from the beginning for safety.
PPPS: You can see all your saved notes by opening the Sticky Widgets app as usual.
You can have the Sticky Notes widgets in the three common sizes supported by iOS 14. You can also customize on a sticky note by changing, among other things, color, font and font size.
Sticky Widgets is free to download, but you can pay $ 22 to access more colors and fonts.
