LEIPZIG – Chelsea managed to bring Timo Werner from RB Leipzig with a dowry of 48 million pounds or around Rp840 billion. In this recruitment, Chelsea coach, Frank Lampard, in fact became a figure who contributed greatly in convincing Werner to join.
This Werner transfer actually surprised many parties. Because at first the German passport attacker was widely linked to be joined by Jurgen Klopp at Liverpool. However, Werner admitted that Lampard made sure he chose Chelsea.
