Steven Spielberg is almost done with the script of his long-awaited TV series about Napoleon. The director said this on Tuesday at a press conference at the Berlin Film Festival. The American received the honorary Golden Bear for his oeuvre there.
Spielberg, 76, told the news agency Reuters that he still enjoys working. “When I find a book or script or I come up with an original idea for a movie, the enthusiasm I feel surpasses everything.”
The director has been working for some time to finish a script that his late friend and director Stanley Kubrick wrote about Napoleon. Spielberg does that for HBO. “It will be a seven-part series.”
