Steve Jobs’ wife’s boat collides with Ricardo Salinas’ yacht – El Financiero

Businessman Ricardo Salinas Pliego experienced something that no one wants to go through while on vacation: an incident caused by the carelessness of a third party.

The owner of Banco Azteca, Televisión Azteca and Elektra, among other brands, is on vacation in Naples, but this Wednesday he had an accident while sailing on his yacht in the waters of the Mediterranean Sea, as his boat was hit, in a somewhat unlikely situation, by another ship.

Through his social networks, Ricardo Salinas Pliego announced that his yacht was hit by the boat that belonged to Steve Jobs, and that is currently in the possession of the widow of the founder of Apple.

True to his controversial style, the businessman criticized that such an accident could happen on the high seas, since there was no traffic congestion and his yacht is of considerable size, even larger than that of Steve Jobs’ widow.

“I’ll tell you, Steve Jobs’ yacht, founder of Apple (now owned by his wife Laurene), hit us while we were anchored off Naples. I’d like to know what the captain and crew were doing that they didn’t see a yacht the size of mine in front of them. The good thing is that nothing more than a scratch happened, but it’s a big scratch that’s going to cost a lot to fix ha ha ha,” he wrote in the video message.

‘Uncle Richie’, as he is known on social media, took advantage of the message to ‘give a hard time’ to the captain of the ship that hit him: “Here is the video, so you can see that there is no shortage of idiots in the world and understand how important it is to have a responsible and attentive captain in command.”

What will happen with the attack on Ricardo Salinas Pliego’s yacht?

As she implied in her post, and as is the case in car crashes, the one who hits pays, so Steve Jobs’ wife will have to pay for the repairs that the Mexican boat requires.

Once the anger had passed, Salinas Pliego took the incident with humor, asking his followers to go to Elektra stores to buy Apple products “to help them pay for their little joke.”

Similarly, the businessman’s followers responded in a relaxed and joking tone, pointing out that they should pay him for the blow or that it could even be a ‘bump-buster’.

“It’s a bumper car, don’t get off!” wrote user Trank_Car.
