Taking the step to leave a legacy
1. Map out your wishes
You can discuss your personal situation and wishes in a meeting with the notary. The notary will then advise you about the options, consequences and costs involved in drawing up or changing your will.
2. Choose an executor
You select an executor, or a person who will execute your will as you have recorded it. Under certain conditions it is possible to appoint the Princess Beatrix Spierfonds as executor.
3. Translate your wishes into a will
The notary translates your wishes into legal provisions and draws up a provisional version of your will. You will discuss this version together and can still be adjusted if necessary.
4. Record your wishes
If everything is correct and as desired, you sign the will in the presence of the notary to make it legally valid. It is always possible to make changes if you change your mind or if something changes in your personal situation.
