Developed in the greatest secrecy since last spring, a table has been added to the already extensive list of new restaurants expected for this culinary season. In command of it? Stéphanie Le Quellec, the winner of season 2 of Top Boss decorated with two Michelin stars for its gastronomic establishment in the 8th arrondissement of Paris, La Scène.
Less than a year after the opening, with her husband, David Le Quellec, of the fish restaurant Vive, the chef will launch, this Thursday, Kitchen, a new table at the Madame Rêve hotel (in the 1st arrondissement of Paris). It will be set up instead of the Madame Rêve Café, located on the ground floor of Laurent Taïeb’s hotel (the Kong restaurant), which opened in October 2021 in the heart of the historic Louvre post office building.

The atmosphere of the great Parisian cafés of the last century
Atmospheric bar, woodwork, monumental columns and impressive high ceilings make up the setting of this place with its undeniable classic charm. A decorum that inspired the founder and the chef, who intend to summon here the atmosphere of the great Parisian cafés of the end of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th century. One way to complete the culinary offer of the hotel, which already has a Japanese restaurant, La Plume, and a rooftop spectacular 1,000 square meters.
“It was a question of designing a real place of life, explains the chef, where the customer can come throughout the day to eat simply, a fillet with pepper, an avocado-prawn, a shoulder of lamb confit, a steamed cod, rice pudding… We want the place to be part of the daily life of its neighborhood, to welcome both hotel guests and Parisians, in a very spontaneous way. »
Endowed with a fairly marked French DNA, without forbidding a few side roads, the menu will be chaptered in different desires. With around 80 covers and a 14-seat counter, the place will also offer breakfast, tea time and brunch in the weeks following its opening to the public.
Kitchen, at the Madame Rêve hotel, 48, rue du Louvre, 75001 Paris.
