The president of the Dijon Football Club, Olivier Delcourt has decided to separate from his coach. Appointed in June 2019, Stéphane Jobard is no longer the coach of the Dijon club, currently last in Ligue 1 with 3 points and no victory.

The Dijon club FCO announced this Thursday evening in a press release. The president of the club, Olivier Delcourt has decided to put an end to the coaching duties of Stéphane Jobard. “Following an interview this Thursday, November 5, Olivier Delcourt decided to terminate Stéphane Jobard’s contract as coach of the professional group.”
Sunday, traveling to meet FC Metz, the DFCO will be led by David Linarès. Until then assistant coach, he will take over the interim and “will be entrusted with the management of the professional group from this Friday. He will continue this mission pending the appointment of a new coach.”
In addition, the club has also announced that it will end its collaboration with its sports director, Peguy Luyindula, appointed in May 2020.

Appointed in June, 2019, Stéphane Jobart had a particularly weak record since the start of the season: No victory in 9 matches for the Dijon club and only 3 points. The DFCO is currently last in Ligue 1, 5 points from the place of barrage.
At 49 years old, Stéphane Jobard therefore left the DFCO, which he joined for the first time in 1998, after having played as an amateur within the Dijon circle since he was 21 years old as an amateur. He became a professional player and then assistant coach from 2016 to 1018. Stéphane Jobard “is one of the great architects of the development of the DFCO and will remain a pillar of Dijon football.
