From one Stéphane to another
Visiting Chartres Cathedral this Wednesday, Stéphane Bern is stopped by a passerby. But in front of him, this one has the memory which falters. “I saw you somewhere!” She exclaims. The journalist and host did not disassemble and replied, with a smile: “I am Stéphane Plaza, I sell houses!” », Before rushing into the monument. (Photo: Quentin Reix)
Clash on Dreux 1
The departmental election campaign risks being “bleeding” in the canton of Dreux 1. And it is on the right that the knives are out. Christophe Le Dorven (LR) has just announced that he is running for a second term, next June (see our edition of yesterday). Enough to annoy Pierre-Frédéric Billet, LR mayor of Dreux, and his friends. Faced with Christophe Le Dorven’s inclinations to represent himself if Aïssa Hirti, deputy mayor of Dreux, materialized his desire to leave for the canton of Dreux 1, the municipal majority decided to change candidates and present Jean-Michel Poisson, first deputy mayor of Dreux. But, against all odds, Christophe Le Dorven, who worked and sat alongside Jean-Michel Poisson for a long time, maintains his candidacy. However, there is no question of going back. Pierre-Frédéric Billet confirms this: “Christophe Le Dorven will find Jean-Michel Poisson on his way to the Department! ”
Ambitious, but respectful
Pierre-Frédéric Billet does not hide his ambitions. The mayor LR of Dreux does not spit on a place in the Center-Val de Loire region. But not just any. The elected Drouais aims at the head of the list in Eure-et-Loir under the colors of Nicolas Forissier (LR), candidate of the right and the center in the regional elections in Center-Val de Loire. Unless Jean-Pierre Gorges, the mayor of Chartres, decides to take it. “I told Jean-Pierre Gorges that I am interested in the place, but that if he decides to go there, then of course he has priority. The ambition of the young mayor of Dreux does not prevent him from being respectful with some of his elders. Those whom he thinks deserve it …
Auction
How much will the Saab 96 Sport take off at auction this Monday by the Galerie de Chartres? Estimated between 10,000 and 15,000 €, the Swedish coupe has everything to attract fans of vintage cars. This model is rare and kept in original condition described as “exceptional” by the auction house. In addition, its story is not lacking in spice. Until Monday, it will have had only one owner, a Eurélien who had acquired it in Paris, while it was enthroned on the Saab stand, during the 1963 Paris Motor Show. A photo published in a dedicated book to the mark attests, moreover, of this rather original origin
90 or 80 km / h?
The speed increased from 90 to 80 km / h, in 2018, on two-way roads without a central separator. Then, two years later, the State gave the Departments the opportunity to return to 90 km / h on their road network, subject to conditions. Which, for motorists, is not always easy, especially on the RN 10, south of Eure-et-Loir. “Outside the municipalities where it is limited to 50 km / h, it would be necessary to harmonize the speed, because between 80 and 90 km / h, one gets lost, me the first”, confessed, Thursday, Joël Billard ( LR), mayor of Bonneval and departmental councilor, during a preparatory meeting for works on the RN 10, alongside the Interdepartmental Directorate of North-West Roads (Dirno). To this remark, logical, one of the representatives of the Dirno specified that “the sections managed by the State remain at 80 km / h”
