Henrik Stenson started the first day of the PGA Championship well, but finished worse and finished with a stroke over par. During Friday’s second round, it got even worse.
The Swede, who hit hole ten on Kiawah Island, started with par on the first four holes before the big worries took over: bogey on holes 14, 15, 18 and 2 – and also a double bogey on the seventeenth hole. After 13 holes played, Stenson is a total of seven strokes over par. The 45-year-old has fallen to a preliminary 96th place, which means that he risks missing the “cut”.
