From October 1 to 11, the Beer Museum will participate in the science festival, which is celebrating its thirtieth anniversary this year.
On the program, an exhibition: “Planète Nature” lent by Escales de Sciences to discover in the form of comics (by Peb and Fox), the theses of ten doctoral students working on the links between science and the environment. Through these “science bubbles” everyone will penetrate into the secret of the work carried out by young researchers, at the interface between Man and Nature, in a fun and exciting way.
The exhibition will be punctuated by small games, to make the visit more interactive for young and old alike. Also palynology workshops with Émilie Gouriveau, scientific mediator, who will offer a family audience, continuous activities around the observation of pollens and the clues they give us on the history of landscapes. We will also have activities on plants with Eléa Héberlé. The opportunity to test your knowledge of plants. Eléa will show how they work through manipulations and observations. Not to mention an aperitif-conference organized by Pint Of Science on October 9 at 7 p.m., by reservation. Anne Vicente and Eléa Héberlé will speak over a drink at the Museum Tavern to discuss their research with you. They will address the issue of pollutants, the means to study and remedy them, as well as the uses of plants (depolluting, medicinal)… Educational workshops are also planned for the seeds of researchers.
