South Korean studio Shift Up mentioned earlier this year that they were considering releasing a PC version of their popular action game Stellar Blade (as well as a possible sequel), and now he has confirmed that this version will be coming soon.
As part of the company’s recent quarterly investor Q&A, it was announced that Shift Up is aiming to release Stellar Blade for PC sometime in 2025. The developer also said that based on recent sales trends on Steam for AAA games (Black Myth: Wukong Specifically), the studio expects Stellar Blade to sell better on PC than it did on PS5.
The developer said:
“We aim to launch it in 2025.” “With recent trends such as Steam’s growing share of the AAA games market and the global success of Black Mythology: Wukong, we expect to see more success on PC than consoles.” “
And of course, Steeler’s Blade has done well on PS5 as well, with Shift Up announcing last June that the game had sold over a million copies since its release at the end of the April.
Steeler’s Blade is also expected to receive DLC in collaboration with NieR: Automata on November 20, adding new cosmetic items, quality of life features, and a shooting mode.
