Stellantis Launches 12 New Electrified Commercial Vehicles: Citroën, Fiat Professional, Opel, Peugeot, Vauxhall

With its new launch, Stellantis has placed emphasis on safety, versatility and capacity, presenting 12 new electrified commercial vehicles belonging to its leading brands: Citroën, Fiat Professional, Opel, Peugeot e Vauxhall. This important step is part of the Pro One strategy, designed to further consolidate the presence of the Italian-French group in the commercial vehicle sector.

Xavier PeugeotSenior Vice President Commercial Vehicles Business Unit at Stellantis, said: “Our second generation of electric vans, perfectly in line with market needs, not only guarantees greater autonomy, but also includes innovations such as electric Power Take Off”. These words reflect the group’s determination to dominate the BEV market and all its segments.

UP TO 420 KM OF AUTONOMY WITH A SINGLE CHARGE

The group demonstrates its leadership through innovation. The new range of electrified vehicles features a series of advanced technologies, from electrified propulsion ai advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), aimed at ensuring a peaceful driving experience and unparalleled reliability for commercial vehicle owners.

Particular attention was paid to autonomy:

I new fully electric compact vans they boast a range of 330 km on a single charge. In the middle segment, the capacity of the batteries varies between 50 and 75 kWh, ensuring up to 350 km. For the large vehiclesthe 110 kWh battery guarantees up to 420 km, with the possibility of fast charging in less than 1 hour.

But the innovation doesn’t stop there. Luca Marengo, Global Head of Product – Serial Life at Stellantis, highlighted how the group has made no compromises in terms of autonomy, capacity, security and connectivity. The use of hydrogen fuel cell propulsionfor example, is intended to offer considerable autonomy, with launches planned for 2024.

The technology inside the new vehicles has been designed with the driver in mind. Systems like the Dynamic Surround Vision and wireless connection significantly improve the driving experience while solutions such as the Smartphone Station in compact vans and Level 2 assisted driving in larger ones further raise the standards.

Looking to the future, Stellantis has further plans in store for the North American market, with the announcement of the arrival of new electrified vehicles branded Ramincluding the Ram ProMaster EV and Ram 1500 REV (both expected by 2024).
